Readynas Duo v2 new disk stops syncing
Y'all
I have a Readynas Duo v2 with Raidiator 5.3.13
I had two 4 TB WD WD40EFRX installed. Some time ago one of the disks stopped working (the one in bay #2)
I have purchased a replacement a WD40EFPX also 4 TB
At first I didn't know about the hot swap, so I powered down before replacing the disk -> nothing happened. Then I realized about the hot swap and reinserted the disk, while the NAS was on and now the disk i recognized and it starts to resync. It stops the resync process after some minutes.
If I try and reinsert the disk the same happens, it starts resyncing and both the admin webpage and Raidar application reflects the change, but alas, it stops again.
The disk in bay #1 works fine
Any hints on how to progress?
Thanks in advance!

Maybe try remove and reinserting disk 2.
Did you test the disk in a PC before using it? You could test it with the WD Drive Utilities
