ReadyNAS DUO v2 reflash image to RAIDIATOR 5.3.7: SOLVED!

nearly o.k, despite the fact that i receive the following error:

Sorry, to fast in sending, the mentioned post from JPT excluded the RAIDiator Firmware, which is not working for me.

Due to the fast and good support given from mdm, the DUO v2 is on its original Firmware back again and running fine.

There are some hints I would like to give for the ones having similar problems:

Before reflashing it may make sense to "clear" the installed Harddisks:
Clear the first sectors from the ReadyNAS installed Harddrives ( mine: 2* 2TB WD RED) which may be done with the drives connected to another (Linux-) PC:
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/[ReadyNAS-HD] bs=4096 count=500000

Then the following steps were done:
1. Take a look at the post: "ReadyNas Duo V2 - u-boot doesn't boot any more - SOLVED"
2. Get the files linked in above post:
* Howto.txt
* uImage-recovery (the kernel)
* initrd-recovery.gz (the initrd)
* and if neceessary the u-BOOT from 5.3.7: https://www.readynas.com/contributed/mdgm/files/arm/5.3/uboot-DUO-1.0.06
* the RAIDiator Firmware: http://www.readynas.com/download/RAIDiator-arm/RAIDiator-arm-5.3.7
3. Prepare a USB Stick / Card from Linux: I only succeeded with setting up a primary partition on the stick with fdisk and then with mkfs.vfat /dev/[usb-stick]1
4. Copy uImage-recovery, initrd-recovery (and if necessary above uboot-DUO-1.0.06) to the usb stick
5. Extract the Radiator Firmware, in this case: RAIDiator-arm-V5.3.7 (86,1MB) and copy it to the stick.

Put the USB Stick in the FRONT USB 2.0 Port (i have also tried the back USB Ports, but without success)
For me the reflashing worked perfectly following the procedure described with pushing the BACKUP button on the DUO V2 whilest Powering ON.

After above reflashing the ReadyNAS Firmware to internal NAND the next step was to do a FACTORY DEFAULT (through access to the ReadyNAS Boot Menue holding the Reset Button on the Back during Power ON acc. to Netgear Documentation).

Result: the ReadyNAS Duo is up and running again as expected.

The USB reflashing procedure does really help to come back to the standard Netgear RAIDiator Firmware.
