verdermerwe - in the first post OP confirms he has a V1. He was unable to complete an OS reinstall, but, later on wiped the the disks and reinserted them- which does a factory reset. He is connecting to frontview, but his log on is being rejected. His PC IP address is consistent with the address the NAS is using.
I am thinking that the next step is for 2trees to tell us what browser he is using, and also what version of firmware RAIDar is reporting for the NAS. I am also thinking that he should get the original system password from his son, since it is possible that he did not actually wipe the disks.
