It seems that you had multiple disk failures that's why it rendered your volume inactive. It might be possible too that your root volume is full.
Were you able to download the logs prior to the event that happened? You can check on disk_info.log, smart_history.log and volume.log to see if the info on your disks (ATA Error, Reallocated sectors). Also, it would be best if you can contact NETGEAR Support for assistance on getting your RAID volume back online and Amazon Cloud issue.
Please note that you may need to purchase a Support contract or Data Recovery service contract if your NAS is more than 90 Days upon purchase.
