ReadyNAS no longer available after firmware update to 6.8.0

Any clues in the logs when it comes back up? Does RAIDar still see it when it goes offline?

One sign of hardware fault is the boot menu not responding, to access the NAS on read only mode will go to the same boot menu. If you cannot access the read only mode please try to boot the NAS on telnel/tech support mode with or without the hard drives inserted and check if the NAS wil respond.

I had better luck with the boot menu with the disks out. I have to power on from the main power switch on the back. I will try again to get it to boot to read only and try to get the data out. I was on the Admin page and download a zip file for a few hours, but it the file wasn't usable once it was on the PC.
I have purchased a support contract. The phone number listed doesn't work and I have not gotten response from an e-mail.
I will update with the next boot mode results.

Try opening the case from my.netgear.com.
I was able to get the ReadyNas into Read Only mode and copy files. It's only in the active mode that the admin page stalls. I am not able to see which process is stalling the device. I will look into it again on Monda.
