ReadyNAS NV not upgrading
Hello, I just got this ReadyNAS and am having trouble updating it. Model: Infrant ReadyNAS NV Serial: 000da201222d Firmware: RAIDiator™ v3.01c1-p6 [1.00a034] Memory: 256 MB [2.5-3-3-7]...
I'm facing the same challenge, trying to upgrade a never-used Infrant NV+ I got on ebay. I hope you'll report if you have any success. I am not qualified to theorize, but I think there are two broad possibilities:
1) There is some issue with the browser I'm using (Safari); I'll try some others. I've got some vintage Macs that still run.
2) Frontview looks for the string "RAIDiator-3" in the update filename before activating the upload and verify button. Or some such sanity check. The solution might be to do an update to the last 3.x version, which presumably anticipated upgrades to 4.x. I have not looked for one yet.
