ReadyNAS NV+ RND4000v2 - Connection Refused In Browser
I recently bought the ReadyNas NV+ RND4000v2 from a closing down company. They had installed 4 x 1TB HDDs which is already configured for X-RAID2. However, it was never used. I plugged into my home network, locate the device using RAIDar and connected to the admin page in my browser (https://192.168.0.200). Once I am logged in, I changed a few things, ie. hostname, admin password, domain, etc... nothing too disruptive and decided to boot the device. Once it has booted, I was not able to access the admin page anymore. I keep getting the page with a message "This site can't be reached. 192.168.0.200 refused to connect". I tried on another computer within the same home network and still get the same "192.168.0.200 refused to connect". I tried googling for answers and someone had similar issues but did not go into details apart from someone connecting remotely into his device and fixing some service configuration file that is preventing some services from starting. Anyone here can help me with this issue? Thanks.
After googling around, I found a page that showed me how to access the boot menu.

So what I did was select OS Reinstall and after it had completed the process, I was able to access the admin page again. Hope this will help others who have similar issues.
NOTE: Doing this will also reset the admin password to the default password.

This closed post is where someone had the same issue and was solved by someone though there isn't much detailed.

What firmware is the NAS running?
Have you checked the status with RAIDar? https://kb.netgear.com/20684/ReadyNAS-Downloads#raidar
If you have an ad blocker or internet security software running, then I suggest disabling them.
One option is to remove the disks, and connect them to a Windows PC. You then can zero the drives using Western Digital's Lifeguard program. Then you reinstall them into the NAS and power it up. The NAS will then do a full factory install onto the drives.
