ReadyNas NV+ v1 - cannot access files or frontview, need to save data
Hi guys,
we can't access our Readynas NV+ anymore, either frontview nor the shares themselves. We tried from several desktops and via direct ethernet connection.
It usually says that the network drive is already in use and can't be accessed.
Raidar finds it, Drives seem fine too (according to Raidar and leds on NAS), But we can't access Frontview from there either.
Unfortunately the backups arent up to date.
Problems first appeared with Win10 and SMB1,2,3, which I enabled. Nonetheless we lost connection to the NAS with increasing frequency. Now we cant access it at all anymore.
1) Can I just buy a second Readynas NV+ casing and move our four 500GB hdd into it to get at the data or would I just transfer the problem to a new NV+ casing?
2) Can I do a factory reset without losing data?
(It has a static IP and we are on a home network, Win10 all around.)

No. It is possible to try an OS reinstall from the front panel - but I don't recommend trying that just yet.

It could go either way - depending on whether the problem with the OS installed on the disks, or a problem with the chassis.
Do you have any experience with linux commands?
