ReadyNAS NV+ v2 - won't boot with more than 1 disk in

Try powering down and moving the disk to slot 2. Power up, and see if it boots.  Repeat with slot 3 and slot 4.

    That was successful in 2 and 4. Although when in slot 3 the error message was “disk 1 failed”

      To clarify, it actually says disk 1 failed when moving disk one to any of the other slots.

        Did you power down the NAS before moving the disk to the next slot, and then powered it up afterwards?
