ReadyNAS NV+ v2 not appearing in network folder on pc's!!
Hi! I have been successfully using this device for over a 2 years now with no issue, it has one 3TB HDD with media files I use to serve to all room media players via network. It is still accessible...
If you do an OS reinstall ( not a factory default) using the boot menu, it will reset your admin password to netgear1 and it will reset your network settings to dhcp.
As for the nas not appearing on your PCs, this is a common problem related to master browsers on your LAN. If you type in the IP address of the nas you should be able to access it in explorer or a browser.
Check that you have a NV + v2:

and upgrade your firmware to the latest.
