Hi,
Depending on if you have a NV+ v1 or v2 you can restrict access to shares as described in the links below. The nameplate on the chassis is no indication which version you NV+ you own. If you are running firmware 4.x you have a v1, if the firmware version is 5.x it will be a v2.
For the v1 please try this (use the information in the section user security, disregard share security please):
