ReadyNAS NV won't boot after power outage
Hi, I have a ReadyNAS NV that will not boot after several power outage occurred yesterday. When I power on the ReadyNAS NV, the blue power light continually blinks blue (approx 1 per second). I have all of the data backed up, so I tried both reinstalling the OS (hold power for 5 seconds) and resetting to factory defaults (push reset button in back and power on, holding reset button for 30 seconds).
Regardless of what I try, I can't get it to do anything other than the fast blue power light blinking. Is there any way to salvage this NV?
Thanks,
Jeff

- vandermerweMasterCan you run a memory test using the boot menu?
How about a USB boot recovery?
http://www.readynas.com/kb/faq/boot/how ... ash_device - jthomps1AspirantHi, it looks like my memory is bad. The memory test resulted in drive lights 1-2 flashing then drive lights 3-4 flashing in an alternating fashion. I reseated my memory and ran the memory test again, same result. I just ordered new memory, so hopefully that will resurrect my NV.
Thanks for your help.
