ReadyNAS NV+ won't boot. LCD says "Booting Please wait..."
It was working yesterday. Then I couldn't find the shares. I tried shutting down the unit but the power button did not work. I then pulled the plug, waited about 30 seconds and plugged it back in...

Hi wootcat,
I'm glad to know that your NAS booted up just fine with only disk 1 inside. :)
You may just insert the new 2TB WD Red disk then it should proceed with the resync process automatically. Wait for the resync process to complete then the data will be redundant again.

Hi wootcat,
Is X-Raid configured on your ReadyNAS NV+? If yes, turn off your NAS, then pull-out disk 2. Then turn on your NAS with only disk 1 inside. Check if you are able to access the data stored in it. If ever you are able to access the data, then kindly back-up your data.

Yes, thank you. I forgot to mention X-Raid.
I pulled Disk Two and was able to get it to boot. I have a new WD Red 2GB on the way, should get it tomorrow.
