It is quite frustrating that I am unable to boot the machine to gain access to the drives, even if all of my data may be still stored on them.
The recovery program I read about requires you to remove the disks from your network-attached storage (NAS) and then connect them to a workstation, after which you run the recovery software. Is that something that works well or has a good chance of working for my circumstances?
