ReadyNAS NV+ Won't Boot

It is quite frustrating that I am unable to boot the machine to gain access to the drives, even if all of my data may be still stored on them.
The recovery program I read about requires you to remove the disks from your network-attached storage (NAS) and then connect them to a workstation, after which you run the recovery software. Is that something that works well or has a good chance of working for my circumstances?

robertseal149 , please start your own thread and give details on just what your NAS does or does not do so we can help you. First, lets see if we can get your NAS to boot. If it won't, there are multiple ways to recover the data.
