ReadyNAS NVX Power failure/apparent death

Question

Yesterday we had a power outage. My ReadyNAs NVX (RNDX4000) won't power on. No life into it. Of course my backup is old and incomplete.

What's the best practise to get my data off the device or get life into it.?

Option 1) Could it be the power supply? Buy a new one? Or more likely motherboard?

Option 2 ) buy a second hand? And move the drives into it? Would that work?

Any experiences or advice very much appreciated.
