ReadyNAS NVX wont power up

Maybe I should go into business on the side and under-cut those guys. Too bad we don't have the trading post area of the forum any longer. Using eBay would add to the price.
BTW, those suplies do have an internal fan (as did the one for the early Infrant NV), and it can be a bit annoying because the small size creates a pretty high frequency. The one I modified had automatic temperature control of fan speed, which helps. Hopefully, theirs do, too. I also did still install the plastic shield, using some aluminum tape to hold it in place since the new one lacks the channels for it.
I just looked at the picture again, and I see they have moved the fan to the other end. That probably helps reduce the noise. They say it doesn't need the shield, and that may be because of the position or flow direction of the fan.
I have only seen one other Flex ATX board that has a fan on that end, and it has two 12V rails instead or one. On the 4-bay ReadyNASes, that would be bad since tying them together is a bad idea, using only one means that the supply will only deliver half as much current, and having the other rail totally unloaded can also cause issues. So theirs seems to be the only option with the fan in that location.
Maybe worthwhile for more than just the convenience.
