ReadyNAS Offsite Replication
Can an RN516 replicate at the share level to a smaller volume on an offsite RN104? Thanks, Jeff Bowman Fairbanks, Alaska
Didn't you already ask this? The documentation says yes, though I'm not a replicate user.
You have another option btw, you can set up secure rsync over ssh for backup. This requires some port forwarding in your destination system's router, and if the RN516 is behind a corporate firewall, the IT folks might also need to enable passthrough in the firewall.
