ReadyNAS Pro 6 install not allocating all available space
Two issues:
Win 8.1. Six 4TB HGST Deskstar NAS HDs. Connected via Ethernet to router. I can see it fine on the network.
X-RAID2 only allocates 8.1TB (RAID 0 allocates 10). 1.673 TB each drive. Attempted to install via RAIDar (both RAID 0 and X-RAID2) and allow factory reset timeout (X-RAID2).
Additionally, RAIDiator firmware update via RAIDar GUI fails.

- Xr8dAspirantI will. Transferring now. I expect it to take a week or so to get everything organized. Then I'll mess around with multiple streams, etc. I paid $164 ea. BTW. A little pricey but way cheaper now that 5/6TB 128MB is out there. Thanks again.
- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserThe street price for NAS purposed drives in the 3-6TB range is about $39 - $42 per TB - quite flat really.
The pricing on the new 8 TB Seagate is about $33 per TB (list, not street), so that might force a price drop soon.
