Stephen B! You are so right. Netgear does their math and concludes that ReadyNAS Remote owners is not worth the economical effort it requires to make it work properly. I talked Netgear support and it boiled down to this (from a officiell Netgear person): There will most likely not be any solution presented from Netgear anytime soon as that would inflict a complete overhaul of software both on user and service-provider end along with hardware.
