ReadyNAS RN104 locks up after upgrade to 6.4.1
Hi, My RN104 has been stable for 15 months, after I upgraded to 6.4.1 when doing backups it now randomly locks up (no web interface response, LCD on unit goes off, power button does not work) and...

no anti-virus service is running (no apps are running)
service running SMB / ReadyDLNA (rarely used)
no open support case (i tried to lodge one, but it said after 90days the community here was my only support available, perhaps i'm mistaken ?)
sure will send through logs

Thanks for the logs. However they are flooded with messages about the resync. If the problem happens again after rebooting the NAS please download the logs ASAP and send them through.

OK the resync should be finished sometime around the 17th December 2015. I assume you mean if it locks up again to download the logs within a few minutes of it booting ?

Yes, that's what I meant. I should have been clearer in what I said.
If you download the logs soon after rebooting after a lockup hopefully messages about the resync won't have had time to flood the logs yet.- melbourneDec 16, 2015Aspirant
The resync has completed. I haven't caused a lockup yet. I might leave it till the weekend.
For your info prior to firmware 6.4.1 being loaded this robocopy script would run every few days.
robocopy \\NAS\Backup\backup_nas d:\backup_nas /e /mir /np /MT:32
I have a hunch the /MT:32 which allows multiple threads is causing something in the new firmware to crash the OS.
