ReadyNAS RN524X CPU temperature too high?
I have a RN516 at home and we just got a RN524X at work. My RN516 CPU temp runs 35C at idle while the RN524X is running 55C+ (I have seen 63C a few times). Is this normal? I know that the max i...

My RN524X is normally powered down during the day, but I just booted it - it came up with showing disk temp of 29C and the CPU temp of 55. FWIW The fan is set to balanced.

Ok. Right now it is 47C so it just must hotter than my RN516.

The temperature of the NAS will also affected by the environment where the NAS is located and also the processes that is running on the NAS.
