Readynas rnd2000 v2 firmware upgrade
After a recent power failure (despie being on UPS) my ReadyNAS no longer works.
Both green drive leds are lit & the working(CPU..?) led flashes occasionally.
The Blue power led gives 4 slow flashes.
Raidiar shows - File System Check. and stays that way for hours.
Pressing the power switch has no effect.
I have read numerous posts & connected direct setting the PC to static IP 192.168.168.5
I have reinstalled OS - by holding reset & powering up until 1st flash of drive leds.
Still no fix.
Any assistance gratefully received..!!
Rob
That disk has failed very badly. With that high an error count presumably there would have been some SMART errors occurring for quite some time.
Replacing that disk with a new disk would certainly be worth a try.
Do you have a backup? Is that up to date?

Are you sure you have a v2? Your profile shows that you bought a v1 just over 5 years ago now.
Please see How to tell whether I have a Duo v1 or Duo v2 or NV+ v1 or NV+ v2

Mine is definately a Version 1.....
but the model number sticker shows RND2000 v2
(I did try to make that plain in the post, but I had to try several times...seems the final post that eventually went was missing that bit)

One of your disks (probably disk 1) is bad
It has a current pending sector count of 24 and an ATA error count of 18970
