ReadyNas RnR-4B reset permissions
Good Morning, Our ReadyNas device reset all the permissions and we are unsure how. We also tried setting back to default but was unable to.

Does this service action apply to your unit? https://kb.netgear.com/000037344/Service-Note-for-RN3130-RN3138-WC7500-and-WC7600v2

I don't own a rack-mount but my understanding is that the RNR-4B is also known as the RN3138. So you might want to check the serial number.

Did you download the log zip file? That might give you a clue as to what happened.
Not sure what permissions are you talking about (network or file). If you mean file permissions - Did you use the reset control on fhe file access page after you set the permissions for the root folder of the share?

Thanks. I am going to check the logs but I am having trouble locating the IP address of the device. Would you happen to know where I can get this?

Update. I viewed the logs and don't really see anything out of the oridnary. Is there a specific event I should look for. Also, the permissions are file permissions. They are set through windows explorer normally.
