ReadyNAS snapshots not rotating

Ah thanks, that makes sense...
So, my issue lies in that 2 months ago I deleted a lot of files off the ReadyNAS to free up some disk space, however that didn't actually free any space; because they are kept in the "forever" monthly snapshots.
Can I turn off the monthly forever at all?
Or do I have to manually delete them?
Or is there another option for me? Seems silly that this results in disk space not getting freed up.
