Readynas Stuck in Booting...
Hi,
As requested started a new thread...
My box is stuck in the booting state and always takes at least 4-5 hours to boot. I've tried all the options. USB and TFTP updates etc and I've now got a case with the 3rd level engineers. I can arrange remote access right away.
Thanks...

- basurfAspirantwhat is the solution to this?
I had to power cycle my ready nas+ and now it is stuck on booting...
I've let it sit in that state for over 10 hours. - basurfAspirantI did a USB boot recovery per the FAQ and it still has the same problem.
The power light has like a slow flash but hangs a sec when the act light blips
only had 3 drives in, and all 3 of those lights used to come up, but I booted once without drive 2 and now drive 2 light flashes
the weird thing is the LCD used to say something like the version, space, etc etc, now it just says booting, no verifying, no anything
not sure what the next step is - basurfAspirantopened a ticket with support, hopefully they will have some insight
I get 2 power blinks then an act blink, the power blink will hang sometimes until the act blinks, then it will blink twice again
I didn't see anything in the LED guide with that combo - steveoelliottLuminaryHi,
I'd recommend raising a support case and sending a message to one of the guys with Star Wars names on here. Your issue may be slightly different to mine though.
I'd recommend sending a message detailing all the troubleshooting you've carried out so far, this will save time.
They may end up remote accessing your box like they did mine.
Cheers... - djmattybAspirantMine is still stuck in "Booting..." after being left on for two days. That's all there is, no troubleshooting, nothing new to report, I just powered down the ReadyNas and turned it back on and now it won't boot up.
I'd really like to be able to access my files again. Any idea what is going on? Seems like a few people all have this same issue. - chirpaLuminaryPlease do what steveoelliott mentioned, contact support (info in my signature).
- djmattybAspirantI just finished reading another post that was about the same issue. I did the Firmware re-installation and was able to get the ReadyNas to boot.
I wanted to post what I did to resolve my issue so that others may try it as well. - chibisakAspirant

djmattyb, if you can post what step go did to make is work that would be great, some how my NV happen the same thing today. However my old X6 is working fine. - MaximGAspirantHello everyone,
this morning, for the first time, my Readynas Duo stuck during booting. The light flashes slowly while the fan was going very fast: in practice the readynas was standing on.
After 30 minutes i removed the power supply and so the Readynas has started properly.
The page log of Frontview has not reported any errors.
What can it be?
ReadyNAS Duo 2250
Firmware: RAIDiator 4.1.4 [1.00a042] - MVitoDAspirantI had the same "Please Wait Booting..." and it would never load. I had just replaced a bad disk 2 and updated the firmware and installed updated apps. So I was freaking out that I had a bad NAS NV+. I yanked all the drives and booted and got a ERR no drives. OK I thought that was good, a different message. So I shutdown and booted up again and gave me the same ERR no drives. I pushed in one drive at a time and listened. I found that my drive 1 was clicking. I yanked it and pushed in all the others and it booted up. It went through all the checks and it is still FS check: 15%. So I am hoping my issues will be resolved with another $50 500GB drive. The two that failed were the original installed 500GB Seagate drives. I am replacing with Western Digital 500GB.
