It should work fine with a Mac. My ReadyNAS units work fine with my Macs. Are you able to edit the thread title (i.e. subject of first post in the thread) to include your case number?
Have you tried backing up your data and doing a factory reset (wipes all data, settings, everything) to get a clean setup on the latest firmware?
Do you Macs/PCs connect to the network via ethernet or wireless?
