ReadyNas Ultra 6, corrputed bootflash
Recently my ReadyNAS Ultra 6 had a corrupted bootfash. It didn't boot (stuck on ReadyNas). After attaching a serial console cable I was able to determine that bootflash corruption was the cause. I got it back online using the USB Recovery Tools but are now missing the VPD. Model, Serial are no longer available in RAIDar and the Admin page. I can read in other similar cases the only Netgear Staff is able to generate a new VPD file.
Marc_V is it possible to generate a new VPD file and send it to me??

Will you be able to send me a snapshot of the label on your NAS where the SN is showing. It's usually the stickers at the bottom and behind the chassis. Also, please set your NAS to SDM and provide me the Debug port.
Kindly send me the photos and port number through PM.
Regards

Thanks for your help for restoring my VPD Marc!
One question, is there any way to save the VPD file located on the internal bootflash?
Using the recovery tools apparently wipes everything on the internal bootflash without saving the VPD first.
