Correcting one paragraph:
Old paragraph:
Why would sdb3 still be trying to rebuilding when the ReadyNAS believes it is done and operational according to the information seen in "RAIDar"? The logs state the sync of drive 2 the Should I pull out /dev/sdb (Drive #2) and put it back in to restart the rebuild?

Why would sdb3 still be trying to rebuilding when the ReadyNAS believes it is done and operational according to the information seen in "RAIDar"? The logs state the sync of drive 2 was started, the system was up a little later, but then it could not see the volume. Pulling drive #2 (/dev/sdb) out and putting it back in did not restart the sync. The drive still shows as operational and working in RAIDar.
