ReadyNAS Ultra4 Radiator 4.2.30 Time Machine share disappeared

I'm having an issue nearly identical to this already closed post: https://community.netgear.com/t5/Backing-up-to-your-ReadyNAS/Private-Time-Machine-quot-volume-quot-disappears/td-p/960853

I have tried the various workarounds but have not yet been able to recover my share and therefore can't backup to it.

I have done a confiugration backup and verified that the share and user are present in the system, but they are not being exposed by the ReadyNAS.

If I try to recreate the share or user manually, it gives me an error saying that they already exist...however again, it is not showing up as a share in the UI and not avialable for backing up to.

Has anyone found a new workaround to this?  I suspect it is related to my recent upgrade to 4.2.30 but I can't find anything obviousl in the logs

Starting to see some evidence of problems in the logs.

I can see that my last backup happened successfully on Sept 22 (from my Mac).

I see this message in the logs:

    system.log : Sep 21 11 : 16 : 20 perrynas avahi-daemon[2925]: Loading service file /etc/avahi/services/timemachine.service.
    system.log : Sep 21 11 : 16 : 20 perrynas avahi-daemon[2925]: Service "perrynas" (/etc/avahi/services/timemachine.service) successfully established.

The system was then rebooted (due to a power outage) and I don't see any message talking about the timemachine service coming online again until I started messing around with it for troubleshooting.

    Please help?

Not sure what happened here but I was finally able to push things through and reset the timemachine backups.

Could you please explain what you did to "push things through"?
