ReadyNAS102 LMS doensn't connect to Mysqueezebox.com
Ok so yeah, pretty much what the title says.
I have a ReadyNAS102 running on firmware 6.1.8 on which I have LMS version 7.8.1, to use with my Squeezebox Touch. The SBT and the RN102 are connected through a gigabit switch, which itself is connected to my modem/router.
I can't seem to get LMS to connect with Mysqueezebox.com. I can get the squeezebox itself to connect with Mysqueezebox.com, but not throug LMS. I get the message: "could not resolve IP address for: www.mysqueezebox.com"
Is there a way to get LMS to connect to www.mysqueezebox.com?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, so thanks in advance.
Kindest regards,
Laszlo

- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserAre you using DHCP for the NAS? If not, what DNS servers are configured?
- LaszloFolgertsAspirantHi StephenB, thanks for your reply.
My modem/router functions as dns server, I think. My other computers connect to it as well. The NAS itself has no dhcp functionality.
Was that what you were asking or did you mean something else?
Thanks, Laszlo - LaszloFolgertsAspirantOk, I think I know what you mean now. Sorry for not understanding, it's been a while since I've delved into my network.
DHCP is enabled on the NAS.
I see one DNS server specified: 192.168.137.1
thanks in advance,
Laszlo - StephenBGuru - Experienced User192.168.137.1 is on your local network (perhaps your router). Is that the same DNS server as your PC is using? (running command, then ipconfig /all should tell you).
If so, try connecting to www.mysqueezebox.com and make sure it connects - LaszloFolgertsAspirantusing ipconfig /all shows me:
DNS-servers: 192.168.0.1 - LaszloFolgertsAspirantshould I change the DNS on the NAS to that as well?
- LaszloFolgertsAspirantYes! that did it. :D
Thanks for your help, StephenB!
