ReadyNAS102 USB3 ports broken?

i'm trying to connect an external usb 3.0 hdd to my new readynas and there appears to be a problem with the rear usb 3.0 ports   after doing some testing it seems that network write speeds ...

    Logs sent.

     

    Just finished another test transferring 3GB.

     

    Using copy/paste it took 65 seconds (47MB/s)

    Using a backup job took 5 hours (0.17MB/s)
