readyns NV+ 1500 after booting, no network connection
I would appreciate help.
After booting up my ReadyNas NV+, I'm not getting a network connection, i get a 1500 on the display.
Here's how I got here.
Previously, I tried to change the IP to static , 192.168.1.070. (it was previously static at 192.168.1.135. I got into an IP conflict so thought I would change it to an IP outside the dhcp range of my router. I now know I could have excluded it. )
The display showed that IP but I was unable to scan it using Raidar.
So I tried the direct connect method - went from wireless to wired on my PC and set the IP to 192.168.1.2, then connected to ReadyNas and restarted the it readynas. Got the 1500 on the display. (do I need to restart ReadyNas for each network connection?)
After trying different settings on my PC and unable to find it with Raidar, I finally tried connecting it back to the router. I connected, and restarted the readynas, but now still get the 1500.
What did I do wrong and what can I do to fix it?
Thanks!

- ReadySECUREApprenticeIt sounds as though there may be an issue with the network drivers
If you are currently running the latest firmware, I would suggest performing an OS reinstall.
The process will not touch data, but it will reset the NIC settings and the admin sign in for Frontview.
To perform an OS reinstall, you will need to access the boot menu, here's the guide: http://www.readynas.com/kb/faq/boot/how ... _boot_menu - lsh1AspirantThank you, that did it! It reset the password, but everything else seems the same.
I appreciate the help! - ReadySECUREApprenticeYou're very welcome.
