All four of mine were jamming, and I found this thread after I was able to get them working. (oh well.)
My fix was to use a little silicone spray lube to get them to free up.
I took one of the plastic fronts off to figure out how the latch worked, and once I figured out where the lubrication was needed, I was able to fix the other three without disassembly. The real trick was being gentle enough on the spray can's pushbutton, so I didn't drown the latches in silicone and make a big mess.
