Hi, I had two faulty disk trays and I contacted Netgear and they sent me two replacement trays. Both of these wouldn't open either ! I removed the latch mechanism using the two philips screws and then sprayed in a small amount of 3 in one with PTFE behind the circular button. Now all the trays work perfectly
