ReadyOS6 (RNDP4000) with Noctia Fan - running at constant speed
Dear all,
I am running a RNDP4000 for some years without any problem but changed the fan now to a Nactua NF-A9 3 PIN fan. It runs a little slower that the Delta stock fan but actually it seems not to be controlled by the OS. I get a constant RPM of 1650 which does not change even if I change the cooling behavior.
Is it neccessary to change the settings somewhere or recalibrate the fan speed anyhow? The minimum RPM is set to 400 which is fine to the fan specs.
Cheers,
Nils

Ah, I saw in the specs that it is a 1600rpm fan and I think the OS has cannot control it as it is the highest speed. The Delta fan can go up to 3200rpm. Is there a better option with a silent fan that can also reach 3000rpm for high temperature? I did not found anyone, most silent fans highest speed is 1600 to 1800.
Any suggestions?
Cheers,
Nils
