Recycle Bin not working
I have enabled the recycle bin on my shares, and the folder shows up in the file list. However, when I delete a test file from a folder in the same share, it does not go into the recycle bin - the bin remain empty. Is there something else I need to do?
Thanks,
Mark

- kevsterrrrrAspirantHi,
I too am having the same issue with the same config, Raidiator 4.2.19, CIFS share.
this used to work initially but now has broken for some reason, shame as it was a good failsafe.
I just disabled the recycle bin, deleted the folder and re-enabled, still no go.
Can't reboot the nas at the moment, will try the disable recycler, delete folder and reboot step later on when no one is on the nas.
Anyone get to the bottom of this?
Thanks, - ewokNETGEAR ExpertDoes a new Recycle Bin folder appear in the share when you delete a file?
- kevsterrrrrAspirantHi All,
been away for a bit, this is now working after a disable, delete of the recycle folder, and a reboot then re-enable.. seems to be behaving now so thats good thanks for all your assitance :) - DAMAAspirantI had the same problem. For me it was enough to reboot the client computer in the network.
