Remote streaming of media files to IOS devices

Logged into router under port forwarding tab:
Reserved static IP for plex server on ReadyNAS
Set port to 32400 as advised and as per plex website.
Tried to connect to NAS drive but unable to establish link.
Plex app appears to be continually cycling through the connection process.
Think progress has been made but not quite there yet.
Any ideas?

Is the NAS using the IP address you reserved?
If not, you should try rebooting the router.
When you say you "set port to 32400" - did you forward port 32400 in the router? Or set it in the plex server configuration?
