Don't do anything more until you have your data backed up. Since drive 3 isn't part of the active volume at this point, you could pull it and test it in a PC while the backup completes. But do not try to put it back in until the backup is complete, even if it tests good. You don't want the NAS starting to re-sync it to the volume.
