Removed disk resync fails

You can get the data off drive 1. Power down the NAS, put disk 1 into slot 1, remove disk 2 altogether and start it up. Then copy the data over the network (and back up the config).
Then you can power down, revert to drive 2 in slot 2 with no disk in slot 1, and then power up. After that starts up, hot-insert disk 1 (which will be wiped), and then restore everything.
Note that you need to reinstall any addons before restoring the config. Which I guess implies that you should remove any backups you don't want to carry over before saving the config.
