Since both units are sparc-based, the disks are compatible.
So you can install the drives with the new NAS powered down, and it should simply start. One small nuance - the firmware in the NAS flash might be mismatched with the OS installed on the drives. You should try to fix this. If you have a spare drive, you can plug it in first, and then install the proper firmware. Then power down, remove the spare, and insert the new drives. Another approach is to over-install your firmware after you are up and running.
You shouldn't need your config file, though it is good to have (as is a backup).
The non-stock memory is another complication, as it might not work properly in the new unit. I'd personally shift the drives first (leaving the memory intact), and then try the memory after you confirm the unit is running ok.
