8. The NAS picks up an I.P. address via DHCP after a factory reset. If you assigned a static I.P. for the NAS on your DHCP server (e.g. your router) then the NAS would pick me up.
Is it e.g. Gmail? if you have two factor authentication setup you need to setup an application specific password for the NAS and allow less secure apps to connect.
