reset share permissions
i have a cifs share all all files are owned by nobody and nogroup... the cifs share is and should only be accessible to members of the users group. if i go back into advanced share permissions and ...
nobody is the guest user. I'd set the owner to "admin". This is to reset permissions on existing files as a one off. For permissions going forward for new files etc. you'd configure settings under Shares > Share Listing > Sharename > CIFS.
