I'm totally lost. My NV+ has been working fine for years, I decide to change it from share mode to the domain mode, and attempted to change rights. It was taking forever so I stopped it, went back to share mode and it won't work.
I read about how share mode is end of life now and you need to go to user mode, so I did. I created users to equal all of my users and they can read all the files now.
But on some directories, I cannot write, delete, etc. I've done what was said above, no difference. I've set the Share Folder Own to my username that I created on it, as well as setting the Share Folder Group to Users. I want everyone one to have full access.
Should this be done when the little circle busy thing stops swirling? Or does it run in the background and I need to check it tomorrow? Does the ReadyNas need to be restarted, or my PC?
