Restart http daemon?
Hello All,
I am having an issue with my NV+.... I am busy copying data off a USB HDD plugged in directly and SSH. But I also want to check on my version of ReadyDLNA (I believe I should be able to see this in Frontview). The problem is that my https://x.x.x.x/admin and /shares pages are timing out. All looks good in RAIDiator and files are served fine with CIFS. It is just the web pages that are timing out.
I tried to restart httpd through SSH but it didn't like that :) (httpd not found)
What is the http daemon? How can i restart from CLI?
Many thanks
Tomsk

- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredTry
# apache-ssl -f /etc/frontview/apache/httpd.conf -t && apache-ssl -f /etc/frontview/apache/httpd.conf -k restart
If it still doesn't work, post the output of
# tail /var/log/frontview/error.log
Do note that Frontview is a low priority process. When the NAS is under heavy load it may not work properly.
