restart stuck on 100% after firmware update
Did the latest firmware update, ReadyNAS DUO V2, and it is stuck (two days) sitting at 100% of the scandisk cycle after the restart.
Disconnected network cable and tried to reset the interface (back panel push button) and neither has any affect or reaction whatsoever.
Question - if I power the unit down (can't seem to shut it down nicely from power button on front) will that create more problems?
Question - can I put the disk drives in another DUO V2 to verify that the data is still valid?

Forced shutdown[FONT=Arial,Arial][SIZE=3]. If the unit is not responding, unplug it.

This is why I gave up on these type of devices years ago. Some simple action like a firmware update could cause this type problem.
You wait for days not knowing if the data is lost. I don't think you have a choice but to unplug it.
