Reuse disks from old NVX system in EDA500
Hi, I am about to purchase a EDA500. It will be attached to a 516. The question I have is. I currently have some spare 3 TB disks that used to be used in a old Readynas NVX system. Am I able...
You should be able to insert them in the EDA500, and format them there.
If you want, you can connect them to a PC and unformat them (or zero them) first - but you shouldn't have to do that.
