RN Pro2 VM Datastore ESXi 5 issue
Hi All,
I set up our RN a while back as a datastore for a ESXi 4.1 server. After some dificulties Its now working well.
I've now got an ESXi 5.0 server that I want to access the same datastore with. I've added the ip address for 5.0 alongside that of my 4.1 server in the NFS settings in 'write enabled hosts' and 'root privilage-enabled hosts' but I can't add the store.
ESXi 5.0 gives me the following error "Call "HostDatastoreSystem.CreateNasDatastore" for object "ha-datastoresystem" on ESXi "10.27.1.30" failed.
NFS mount 10.27.1.53:\data\ failed: The mount request was denied by the NFS server. Check that the export exists and that the client is permitted to mount it."
Seems like a permission error but I can't figure out what it could be.

- ittimAspirantthanks for the replt mdgm,
I have Default access disabled, then below i have boxes checked for Write enabled hosts and for root privilage-enabled hosts.
The entries for both read 10.27.1.30,10.27.1.38
I'm using the share happily on esxi4 (10.27.1.38) just not 5. - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredIs your ESXi 5 server on one of those IPs?
