OK So I have fixed my issue without having to go to the linux level
If you have set up a readycloud account, you can log in there and upgrade your firmware remotely.
This worked for me, I hadn't thought of this until Netgear informed me that my readycloud account was going to close and once I got in I upgraded the firmware and now I can access the admin page through the network

Seeing you have SSH access,
# journalctl -a | grep apache2 | tail -n 20
# cd /etc/apache2/sites-enabled
# ls
# rm *shell*
# systemctl restart apache2

I have the same problem
I am unable to ssh into the system but can boot the readynas 102 into boot mode and telnet in using putty
When i try
# cd /etc/apache2/sites-enabled
I get
-sh: cd: can't cd to /etc/apache2/sites-enabled
when I check the contents of /etc apache2 is not there
if I try
# journalctl -a | grep apache2 | tail -n 20
I get the response
-sh: journalctl: not foundnot sure what else I can do :(

Did you mount the OS partition?
- rayzaOct 12, 2015Aspirant
hmmm no, I only have limited knowlege of linux systems and was not aware I had to mount the partition
What is the process to mount it?
I did a quick search on google, would the following be sufficient or are there more commands that need to be executed?
# start_raid.sh
# mount /dev/md0 /sysroot
