RN102 6.2.2 app delete bug, no admin console #24896773
I find myself in familiar company...
RN102, 6.2.2, ssh not enabled. I uninstalled an unused app and now I can't access the admin UI. Ping and file browsing work fine.
Please advise as how to remedy. Best I can glean from previous threads is tech support remedies while RN102 is in tech support mode.
Thanks in advance,
-Steve

- NhellieVirtuosoThat is correct, it can be fixed through TelNET. If you have not used TelNET before might as well contact support and let them remotely fix your NAS.
http://support.netgear.com/general/contact/#tab-call - raindog911AspirantThanks, Nhellie. I opened a case with support. It took about 60 minutes via chat to get all the info and the RN102 into telnet mode. Now I'm waiting for L3 to pick up the case. Thank goodness I'm on day 83 of the 90 day customer support!
- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredSupport has had a look at your system. You should be able to access the admin UI again now.
- Adele_BookAspirantPlease could you tell me how I'd go about fixing my RN102? After uninstalling the (broken) OwnCloud application I have the same problem as described above. Also, I don't have SSH enabled. Though I doubt I'd know what to do with it anyway.
After the breakdown I tried the OS install and the factory default stuff but it just made the situtation worse. I also tried reformatting and deleting the drive and I now can't get anything to work. At best I'm left with a £100 doorstop.
Help much appreciated.
Sylvia - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredWhen you boot the NAS, what do you see in the Info (far right) column in RAIDar?
- Adele_BookAspirantDisk contains data
