RN102 can't access web GUI some apps still accessible firmware reset?

Hi,

I can't acces the web GUI anymore on my RN102. Some other apps that I have installed are still working and accessible through their web GUI. The NAS is still visible on my network and I can still access all my files.

The NAS is holding two 3TB disks in RAID 1

I feel like I need to do a firmware reset but i don't want to lose all my files like in a full factory reset. I don't mind if I have to install all my apps again.

Is there a way to reset the firmware without losing my filles on the disks?

I hope somone can help me out.

Thanks a bunch in advance.

Kind regards,

Laszlo from the Netherlands

What firmware is installed on the NAS, and what apps?

I don't know the firmware anymore because I've been using the NAS like this for a few months now and haven't gotten around to fixing it sooner. I know I was going back and forth between firmware versions because I couldn't get qbittorrent working anymore.

I've also tried OS reinstall but I still can't reach the web GUI. It asks for a password and then nothing.

If I have to do a full factory reset, would it be possible to take one disk out (since in RAID 1 it's a mirror), do a factory reset, insert that disk again and then sync the formatted disk to the full disk so they're mirrored again?

      Thanks

RAIDar should be able to tell you the firmware. https://kb.netgear.com/20684/ReadyNAS-Downloads

No, that won't work. The NAS will sync the full disk to the empty one, and the RAID array will end up empty.
